BioAlgae

The BioAlgae unit is designed to eventually purify the recycled waters, while cultivating microalgae in the tubular photobioreactors (PBR), combined with high-tech LED-growlights. The unit can grow microalgae species like Haematococcus Pluvialis and Auxenochlorella protothecoidesPlease read below more details of our microalgae species. The purified waters can be returned to nature or used as industrial process water.

The produced BioFeed-fertilizers from the industrial sidestreams and the industrial CO2-emmissions are recycled and utilized in this controlled and automated microalgae cultivation system.

The cultivated microalgae can be used in new high-quality products, such as fish- and animal feeds or as “SuperFood-products”.

Please contact us for learning more about microalgae cultivation and for the biotechnological water purification system.

The BioAlgae unit can also work as a stand-alone microalgae production unit.

Introduction of our microalgae species

Haematococcus Pluvialis

Haematococcus pluvialis is the richest source of natural astaxanthin which is considered as “super anti-oxidant.” Natural astaxanthin produced by this microalgae has significantly greater antioxidant capacity than the synthetic one. Astaxanthin has important applications in the nutraceuticals, cosmetics, food, and aquaculture industries.

It is now evident that, astaxanthin can significantly reduce free radicals and oxidative stress and help human body maintain a healthy state.

With extraordinary potency and increase in demand, Haematococcus Pluvialis is one of the high-value microalgal products of the future.

Auxenochlorella protothecoides or Chlorella

Chlorella has a huge amount of chlorophyll and is also very rich in nutrients. Chlorella contains the soaring number of a necessary vitamins such as B, C, E, and vitamin K, amino acids, beta-carotene, iron, minerals such as calcium, zinc, magnesium, potassium and other rare minerals. One of chlorella’s unique features is its rate of growth (growth factor). Under the right conditions chlorella is able to quadruple its size in 20 hours. For that reason, chlorella was on top of the list in the 1950’s when scientists were looking for a solution to the food shortage.
